Museum London Youth Council
As lead Youth Council Facilitator from 2018-2020, I guided high school-aged youth in engaging the local community and becoming advocates for the arts. I collaborated with artists-in-residence to support creative learning and empowerment through weekly meetings and public programming.
Projects were youth-driven and included a public launch of a zine, a Museum Day of Play with youth-led tours, and a mini film festival among others.
I travelled to the Ottawa Art Gallery with a delegation of members to collaborate with other Youth Councils around Ontario at the YAS! Symposium in 2019.
