Co-Curated with Sammy Orlowski
This exhibition brought unique and intimate sequential art depictions together to paint a single picture of a remarkable year in the world.
This is a project of an ongoing collective of artists and friends brought together by a shared love of comics and illustrative art forms. Beginning in January 2022, they united under the project title “Year of the Tiger” and devoted themselves to creating and sharing a single 8.5”x11” artwork per month.
A selection of these comics were presented at Good Sport Gallery & Studio as both art and artifacts that reveal the way our experiences of moving through a year can be at once distinct and also profoundly shared.
