Immersive Theatre Productions
As a founding member of the Tinkerspace Theatre company (2018-2021), I collaborated and presented a number of theatre projects that were immersive and grounded in divised theatre.
Among these was Theatre Obscura. Bringing together a new batch of artists each year, the event was a cabaret of new work meant to be presented in complete darkness.
Making use of sound, sensory, and glowing elements, we presented incredible short pieces that included glow puppetry, anonymous confessionals, participatory sound-making, and moving poetry.
After its first edition, the project grew to become an accessible experience for blind and deaf-blind audience members. This was done in collaboration with disabled and deaf-blind artists, and benefited the CNIB.
